

Kenden “Mustaqiim” Dean, M.Ed., also known as K.M. Dean, is a writer, youth activist, educator, and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience serving children and teens in schools, group homes, community centers, and youth organizations. Passionate about empowering young people through values-based development, he has dedicated his life to helping youth build strong character, confidence, and purpose.
Blending education with creativity, Dean uses his skills as an entertainer, videographer, and producer to create engaging skits, songs, games, and multimedia content that teach essential life lessons. His innovative approach makes character education fun, relatable, and impactful for today’s youth.
He is the founder of Professional Good Doers, a nonprofit organization focused on youth and community development through character-building programs and positive mentorship. He is also the creator of the G Program, a comprehensive character education initiative designed to promote good values, good deeds, and strong community involvement by recruiting mentors and volunteers to support young people.
Dean has facilitated educational entertainment events in schools and community organizations, taught character education through after-school programs, summer camps, and online platforms, and authored the character education book Dictionary of Good Values.
In addition to his educational work, he has experience in fundraising and outreach, securing support from local businesses, organizations, and individual donors. As a social media marketer and designer, he develops digital and print advertising materials to expand program reach and engagement.
Dean has also operated a community center and café that provided family-friendly entertainment and safe spaces for youth. His background includes several years in social services, offering counseling and care for youth, adults, and seniors.
